Horse shoe is made of iron and is used traditionally as a symbol of stimulating good luck.
Since centuries, the horse shoe is used in China, India & other countries. It should be fixed on the outer door to keep evil spirit and evil eyes out of the premises.
The Horse shoe is in "U" shape and symbolically indicates "luck does not run out". Place horse shoe on the main door facing west, north west or north door. Horse shoe should not be placed on the main doors which have orientation in east or south east, as metal in this corner will distroy the wood element. Never position your horse shoe downwards i.e. the reverse of "U" position, as this position can invite serious bad luck.
It is considered as most auspicious item to remove bad luck from the house. Black horse Shoe work as a protective layer of the house.
In ancient text also it has been suggested that those who fixes a Black Horse Shoe on there outer wall or Door remains away from bad luck and diseases.
The horseshoe is considered a lucky charm in the West as well as in China & India !
